University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index Falls in November
A key gauge of U.S. consumer confidence fell slightly in November, according to a survey released on Friday.
The University of Michigan's consumer sentiment fell to 98.3 from 98.6 in the prior month.
Economists had forecast a reading of 98.
A sub index tracking consumer expectations fell from 89.3 to 88.7, while a separate gauge tracking current conditions rose from 113.1 to 113.2.
